The Betu Canoe Project – 2021
On June 18th, 2021, VAN Community Outreach presented a newly built, 8-seat canoe and 8 life jackets to Betu, Jloh District, Grand Kru County.

Inaugural Outreach Trip – 2020
In February 2020, VAN Community Outreach visited 4 areas in Grand Kru County, Liberia (Barclayville, Betu, Grandcess, and Sasstown) and was able to provide:
- 3,027 students with an assortment of school supplies
- 96 packs of chalk, 100 chalkboard erasers, and other school supplies for teachers
- Clothes, shoes, and four soccer balls were distributed to the children, youth, and teachers at each of the four areas
- 72 bars of laundry soap were given to the elderly
- A cookout lunch was held for children, students, and elderly at each of the four areas visited
- Medical supplies and $100 cash provided for generator fuel were donated to the Rally Time Hospital, Grandcess
- Held town hall meetings with teachers and students to identify the specific needs of each area Check our Facebook page to learn more
