Mrs. Beatrice Nimene -Sherman

Mrs. Beatrice Nimene -Sherman is a daughter of Jloh, Grand Kru County. She is a seasoned administrator who has worked a number of years in both the public and private sectors.

She lived in Grand Kru County, and attended the St Paul Elementary and Junior High school in Sasstown.  Mrs. Sherman also represented Grand Kru County as Senator in the Liberian Senate from 1997- 2003.  That position enabled her to travel throughout the County. She is currently serving in the Foreign Service at the Liberian Mission in Abuja, Nigeria, W. Africa.  Mrs. Sherman hold a Bachelors Degree in Business, with a Minor in Public Administration, from the University of Liberia, Monrovia.  She also obtained a Training Certificate, from the Gabriel E. Dennis Foreign Service Institute, Monrovia and a Training Certificate in Diplomacy and Negotiation, from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Service.

She decided to work with the VAN Community Outreach in order to help cater to the needs of underprivileged school age children and the elderly.  To assist in providing basic needs to underserved schools in underprivileged communities, is her passion. Mrs. Sherman is highly moved by the humanitarian outreach initiatives carried out by the VAN Community Outreach organization that benefit children and the elderly.
